First Post: Welcome to my lifestyle blog

Hey there random internet user who probably came here through, what probably was, a random google search,

I'm D. Welcome to my latest and greatest blog. This is my lifestyle blog where I will discuss my lifestyle as a black millennial blerd. If you're new to the word "blerd", a blerd is the intersection between you guessed it - black and nerd. I live my lifestyle on the fringes. I don't like watching TV, but I can sit through movies, listen to music, read books, and talk about the latest research in my career field like none other. If you want my attention, we can talk about pro-wrestling, American politics, and hip-hop music.

I've grown more comfortable with who I am in the last few years. The expectations that the world has for me will never define who I am. From the outside looking in, you might think a few different things about me, but I'm just as uncomfortable with new life situations as you are. I may look dry on the outside, but on the inside, my mind racing in 10,000 different directions. I love hearing about people's passions, whether that is their hobby, career, religion or family.
